Our Mission

Lighting the Path for the Underserved

Born from an unwavering commitment to humanitarian service, Elahi Welfare Foundation was established in 2004 in loving memory of Sheikh Amar Elahi, Advocate — a man whose life embodied compassion, integrity, and service.

Today, we carry that legacy forward with purpose and conviction.

We believe that access to education, healthcare, and opportunity is not a privilege — it is a fundamental human right. Through the transformation of 1,287 schools and the strengthening of rural health centers, we are not just delivering aid — we are building futures, restoring dignity, and unlocking potential across underserved communities.

Our work is driven by a simple but powerful vision: a world where opportunity is not limited by circumstance, and hope is not defined by geography.

Ways to Give

Islam teaches us the virtue of giving. There are many ways your generosity can bring hope and transform lives.

Zakat

Zakat is the third pillar of Islam and is obligatory on all Muslims who meet the Nisab threshold. It is calculated at 2.5% of total savings and wealth held for one lunar year. Your Zakat directly supports the most vulnerable members of our communities.

Sadqa

Sadqa is a voluntary form of charity given out of compassion, love, friendship, or generosity. There is no minimum amount, and it can be given at any time. Every act of kindness counts as Sadqa, and monetary Sadqa helps us fund ongoing community programs.

Fidia

Fidia is a donation made when someone is unable to fast during Ramadan due to illness or old age. The amount is equivalent to feeding one poor person for each day of missed fasting. This contribution directly provides meals to those in need.

Fitrana

Fitrana (Zakat al-Fitr) is a charitable donation given before Eid al-Fitr prayers. It is obligatory on every Muslim who possesses food in excess of their needs. It purifies the fast and enables the less fortunate to celebrate Eid with dignity.

Together, We Can
Change Lives

Your generosity fuels our mission. Every donation, no matter how small, directly impacts the lives of families in need. Join us in building a future of hope and opportunity.
